X-Cal Resources required a Content Management System to be able to update the website themselves at any time from anywhere rather than rely on a third-party to do so. The website features a flash animation slide-show banner that they can add images to, a 20 minute delay stock market feed, databoxes that feature newly updated content, a photo gallery tool, an e-newsletter and subscribe form, and embedded YouTube videos.

X-Cal Resource was purchased in 2010 by Paramount Gold.
